Hi there, im a shift coordinator for a vac care program thats specialised for clients with various disabilities.
Our problem at the moment is that we've all become a bit repetitive with our program. A lot of our resources also get broken really fast.
We do the usual cooking activities, water play in the summer, excursions to the movies, bowling, ice arena.
If anyone has any ideas, that would be super helpful. We need a set fresh of eyes I think.
Any ideas would be kindly welcomed!
Program ideas for OSHC/Vac care for clients with ASD

Where are your children on the ASD spectrum? Do you have children with other disabilities?
Would your children like sensory (manipulative) activities? Salt dough-can bake. Slime etc, https://childhood101.com/sensory-play-ideas/
Some of these activities may suit young children so you would have to decided whether appropriate or not.

The clients range from being highly functional to the other end of the scale. We make lots of different doughs, metamucil slimes, shaving foam.

Graffiti wall - Stick some blank paper on a wall and turn it into a 'graffiti wall'. You can also paint a wall with blackboard paint or put up a big white board for graffiti fun.
Sensory tent - Kit out a play tent with everyday items, such as old CDs, tinsel, fairy lights – for a great sensory space.
