improve your practice - staff support networks

Post by leyla » Tue May 08, 2012 12:01 pm

Hi,
Was wondering if someone could please help me with this question:
Identify a range of stuff support networks both within and outside your organization.

Could you, please, give some ideas :)

Thanks!

HI there Leyla
Staff support within the organisation could be your supervisor & the centre manager. Also your work colleagues are a support network.
Outside the organisation it could be a union, other Childcare workers you have met on training courses, a networking organisation for Child Care workers the governing body/authority for your centre and also the regulatory body. OH - - this wonderful website and others like it.
I am in WA and our systems are probably different to yours but hopefully this gives you a few ideas.
