longer term protection issues are things like being in foster care, having parental custody agreements, difficulty forming relationships, trust, drug dependency

things like that? what are you more stuck on?

ok thank you - I think I am on the right track. Did you find that most of them repeat themselves?
For Physical abuse I put:
Long term issues for someone who has been physically abused as a child include: suffer from physical, emotional and social effects of the abuse throughout their lives, are at greater risk of developing a mental illness, becoming homeless, engaging in criminal activity, show signs of aggressive and violent behaviour and face unemployment. They may also suffer from depression and lack self esteem.
Foster care, Counseling services,

Also at the bottom of that page it asks for reporting mechanisms, strategy?

yeah lots of repetition!
mechanisms I put making notes and reporting to management
strategies no tolerance, open communication
I really have no idea if I'm on right track. the student forum isn't too informative either

that's awesome!
do you have any pointers for ethical practices examples? Ive done nurturing but cant find much on ethical. and the learner guide is all about nurturing , not ethical in that area :/
I feel like I'm spending way too much time on these questions.

well I am glad I am not the only one stuck on that question! I was up to midnight trying to finish it!
I ended up putting:
Respect a families decision that their child is to pray every day at 2pm.
and
Work to ensure children are not discriminated against on the basis of gender, age, economic
status, family structure, lifestyle, ethnicity etc
Keen to hear if you think I am on the right track.
Also my email is lynrob4@bigpond.com if you prefer to email!

If you need assistance, feel free to create a new topic to post your question and I can provide you with information to help your understanding...

Hi! I'm also with Inspire - wish I had read some reviews before I started, would definitely have considered going elsewhere.. The workbooks themselves I dont have a problem with, but they could really use some work on their learner guides - this forum is a godsend!! So much more informational than the workbooks provided. I guess you get when you pay for - my course was only $900 or something..

In any case, how is your studying going? Sounds like you guys might be further along than me....

It's a shame that students are struggling to complete assignments. I mean course providers should provide you with the necessary materials and information to complete assignments... If students have to find information to complete assignments what's the difference in adding the information within the course materials...

Oh Wow! Congratulations!! That's fantastic... I am just working through every workbook (I had them printed at officeworks) and then I'll email the lectures with all the questions I have once I've done the 'easy' questions.. Its not so much that questions are hard, I just don't know what they want or where to look for the information, which is SO frustrating!!

I hope it all keeps going on track for you, are you Cert III or Diploma?
