Using your observations of children identify one need you have recognised to support children’s cross cultural understandings and the need for cultural support. For example- children noticed a picture of a man wearing makeup and stated only girls wear makeup. As an educator you could discuss with children the range of cultures which do wear makeup and the types and styles of makeup used- Tribal ceremonial dress, Actors, Transgender etc.
