cognitive development/ problem solving

i not sure what experience could help with this or what cognitive development is exactly. could someone please help

Cognitive development - Write at least one (1) problem-solving experience you can provide to support the cognitive development of children in each of the following age groups: 0-2 years, 3-5 years and 6-12 years.

Hi!
Think about activities where they can solve a "problem" themselves, like playing in a sand pit for example and a child doesn't know how to turn a full bucket of sand, as an educator you should sit back and see how they solve this problem ( usually they manage to turn the bucket by themselves.) - Problem solved! Hope this helps!
