Not sure I would answer that question how you have.

Ok so look at the meaning of the word delegation

Delegation (or deputation) is the assignment of authority and responsibility to another person (normally from a manager to a subordinate) to carry out specific activities. It is one of the core concepts of management and leadership. However the person who delegated the work remains accountable for the outcome of the delegated work. Delegation empowers a subordinate to make decisions, i.e. it is a shift of decision-making authority from one organizational level to a lower one. Delegation, if properly done, is not abdication. The opposite of effective delegation is micromanagement, where a manager provides too much input, direction, and review of delegated work. In general, delegation is good and can save money and time, help in building skills, and motivate people. Poor delegation, on the other hand, might cause frustration, and confusion to all the involved parties
(taken from Wikipedia)

Now your question is HOW is it applied in the workplace.

What you have written seems to be more in line with how people may feel after tasks have been delegated to them but the question is not asking this of you.

So you are in charge and have 5 tasks that need to be delegated ... how do you do it? This is what the question is asking

Sue, good on you for trying but a huge factor in study is understanding the question asked of you and answering that. Break the question down if you have difficulty with it or look up key words etc

Anyway if you can do your answer again and post it I will have a look at it and can give you further feedback..... hope this helps
