CHCIC501A - Policy Meets Licencing & Reflects Diversity

Hi all,
Please help.I have two questions that are troubling me. They are How would you confirm a draft policy meets licensing requiremnts and How would you go about ensuring the policy reflects and respects cultral diversity? If any one can assist me thanks alot

Hi Jackie,

When creating a draft policy I'm pretty sure it needs to be in accordance to the Child Care Regulations. So, if you are doing a policy on Cultural Diversity for example, you will have to go through the requirement in the Child Care Regulation first... I think this is how it's done...

For your second question if you have access to the Childcare Regulations find "Cultural Diversity" and read the requirements documented in there... I'm pretty sure I've attached a copy of the Childcare Regulations in another topic. Just type Childcare Regulations in the search box on the top right hand side and it will come up...

Let me know if you can't find it so I can provide you with a copy.
