Family day care programming and planning

Post by tinytots » Sun Jul 17, 2016 6:55 pm

Hi, I am about to start training to open my home family day care business and would really appreciate anyone, that can share, or give ideas for an easier way of programming and planning please.

Essence of it - you gather evidence of the group of children and the individual child through observations, parent input, child input, conversations, children's interests and developing skills etc. Using this information you create a daily or weekly program on further developing the children's learning through planned activities from the evidence you had gathered linking to the EYLF framework...

It's up to you on the types of observations you gather, how you layout your program, how you collect the information from the parents etc.

You can have a look at the templates available on here to give you some inspiration...

Let me know if you have any further questions...
