Diploma apprenticeship

I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to get an apprenticeship/traineeship at a long day care centre for a diploma qualification? Do you need to find out from a training provider such as TAFE? How do you get a child care centre to take you on for this? I also live in Qld. If anyone knows how this process works I would really appreciate it.

Apply for positions for cert 3 workers and during interview ask management if they would consider placing you on a Diploma apprenticeship. You need to be working full time in order to complete a traineeship (as I understand it)
