Explain how each of the following strategies supports the social development of toddlers.
Strategies:
A) recognising and responding promptly to an child's emotional cues.
B) responding to and comforting children when they are upset or hurt.
C) providing predictable and consistent routines that allow the child to feel a sense of security.
D) talking about feelings and the feelings of others.
E) Helping children to express their emotions in socially acceptable and age-appropriate ways.
I have only answered B) and it was this:
B) comforting and responding to a child who looks upset or is hurt, allows the child to understand that the educator is always there to listen to when they're upset or hurt. Next time, they may come up to the educator and tell them instead of staying alone upset.
Am I correct? Please let know and please help me with other ones as well
