The biggest thing is providing a child with comfort and security and sometimes sleep time is the most important time to provide these things to a child coming to daycare. We respect the child's sleep rituals as we want to make them feel as at ease as they can so they can relax, rest and sleep. It maybe in the form of a toy, being patted, given a milk bottle or even just being left alone.
