Hi,

1.Education and Care Services National Regulations
Reg 101: Conduct a risk assessment for excursion

2.National Quality Standards
Quality Area 2: Children's health and safety
Quality Area 3: Physical environment
Quality Area 4: Staffing arrangements?
Quality Area 5: Relationships with children?
Quality Area 6: Collaborative partnerships with families and communities?
Quality Area 7: Leadership and service management?

3.EYLF
Outcome 3: Children become strong in their social and emotional wellbeing.

4.FSAC
Outcome 1: Children have a strong sense of identity
Outcome 3: Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners

For the regulations it's fine. However, for the QA are you suppose to choose specific QA or come up with something for each QA? Not too usre what you are referring to...

Hi Lorina,
Thank you for your reply!

I am not completely sure as it just says:

Identify which sections of the following demonstrate hazards and risks

1.Education and Care Services National Regulations
2.National Quality Standards
3.EYLF
4.FSAC

I'm a little stuck with this

Thank you again

In that case, I think you're on the right track with what you had already written. You just need to add where it mentions hazards and risks which you have done.

My answer for NQS and FSAC is a bit different.. not sure if I'm right

2. National Quality Standards (NQS)
Quality Area 2 - Children’s health and safety. Standard 2.3 Each child is protected.
Element 2.3.1 Children are adequately supervised at all times.
Element 2.3.2 Every reasonable precaution is taken to protect children from harm and any hazard likely to cause injury.

4. Framework for School Aged Care in Australia (FSAC)
Outcome 3: Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners

Im confused because my answer is:
Are these the same? as they are on the documents I have in my course.
* My time our place
* Belonging, being and becoming

I notice the outcomes have different names on other peoples comments...

3.EYLF
Outcome 1: Children have a strong sense of identity
Outcome 3: Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners

4.FSAC
Outcome 1: Children have a strong sense of identity
Outcome 3: Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners

The MTOP and EYLF are very similar. The outcomes are the same except for a couple of outcomes which changes from EYLF to the MTOP...
