Explaining Hazards to Children

Post by Elatkin » Wed Jan 25, 2017 12:55 pm

Hi - I am very stuck on this question, I can't seem to find an answer in my workbooks etc

Describe how you can explain hazards in the environment to children. Include in your answer how awareness of these hazards is very important in relation to a child’s health and safety, hygiene, and general well- being

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Thanks
Elissa :) :)

For this, you need to detail if there was something in the environment that was unsafe for children how would you let them know...

For example - if there is water all over the bathroom floor and it's slippery...

You would verbally let the children know, put up a sign, keep a close watch of the bathroom to make sure children don't go inside until you get it all mopped up. etc.

Hope this helps!
