The Adelaide Eastern Community Childcare Centre Inc is an accredited community resource governed by, and for, our families. We provide high quality and affordable childcare tailored to the individual and a safe and nurturing environment for children, families and staff.
Underpinning our care is our recognition of the importance of strong, secure relationships between children, families, the centre and staff. By supporting positive relationships we strive to provide a safe, supportive and care-driven environment that is sustained by quality programmes to foster children’s development and nourish their emotional health.
AIMS
- To provide each individual with a safe, caring and stimulating environment which is conducive to the development of healthy, happy children and, for infants, is based on the concept of primary caregiving.
- To involve families in all aspects of centre life – from its Board to its daily operation - and to actively encourage open, two-way communication between the centre and families that aims to build true partnerships.
- To be an inclusive care giver that respects all cultural backgrounds and caters to the individual needs of all children in a non-sexist and non-violent environment.
- To provide children with appropriate guidance that will encourage positive behaviour, self confidence and cooperation.
- To provide structure, stability and continuity of care for children and families through daily practices and routines, while allowing flexibility for each individual's needs.
- To recognise that staff members and staff teams are the centre’s most valuable asset and are fundamental in providing a happy, healthy environment for children. We therefore aim to provide staff with appropriate recognition, development opportunities and an appealing work environment.
- To provide quality, nutritious meals and snacks and cater to the needs of children with special nutritional requirements.
- To provide educational and developmental programs that encourage physical growth, foster satisfying social interactions, enhance creativity, develop language skills and promote cognitive ability. Programs that have children PLAY at their centre and based on the Early Years Learning framework for Australia; Belonging, Being & Becoming curriculum.
- To be at the forefront of best-practice, quality child care provision and to regularly review and evaluate all centre practices in a comprehensive and transparent manner.
Adelaide Eastern Community Childcare Centre Inc believes that an environment projecting happiness and security will contribute to the basic feelings of safety and well being that are essential to successful living. Our care is based on the principles that learning should be the result of actual experiences; that play is a signicant mode of learning and, above all, that the centre should be a place of joy for all.

Re: CHCORG303C - Statement Of Philosophy
Maybe something like:
Informs understanding of: could be the centre's overall goals and objectives
Leads to: the actions of the centre staff is guided by the centre philosophy, makes stake holders aware and recognise centre goals and objectives.
Hope this helps,
