How To Reference Correctly Using Web Sources Orin Zebest

As a student finding information and doing research is an important part of completing assignments. Once you find the information you need to complete the question, it's imperative you know how to reference the information that you are adding into your response.

Any piece of information that you write down that is not your own idea and you find from another source, you need to add a reference from where you got the information from. Since almost all information can be sourced from the internet itself, the following is a guide on how to reference correctly using sources found on the internet. These examples will give you an idea on how to write a reference depending on where you gathered the information from.

There is no problem using different sources of information to complete answers. It actually helps you get gain a better understanding when researching different views and opinions for a particular question. However, it does become a problem when you don't reference and your assessor clearly sees that you are plagiarising and copying answers. So, please make sure that you reference all information that isn't yours in your assignments!
