Children under 5 years in Australia still are not eligible for Covid 19 vaccinations. It is expected that it will come into action much after Easter.
Clinical trials and research are taking longer than it was expected. Therapeutic Goods Administration boss John Skerritt said that the United states of food and drug administration yet have not given approval for the vaccination of children aged below 5 years old. It is said that local approval would be required for clinical data from overseas manufacturers including Pfizer.
On the other hand, vaccination is important to combat Covid-19. Slowly the situation is getting normalised in Australia. At this moment the approval for vaccination of children of 5 years would make the fight stronger against covid-19.
