The question states to read the following articlES

It asks for you to research issues surrounding acceptable risk versus absolute safety in relation to children's outdoor play.
Consider the following issues;
Are safety require,nets creating a generation of children who are not able to manage and assess risks
Are regulations in relation to safety too restrictive

Is it an opinion or what information should I be gathering...??

When you are asked to research something within articles I believe they want you to take the information in the relevant articles. What are the articles telling you about the issues you are being asked to consider. Use the facts.
