Responsibility Of Injury For Injury Of Broken Toes

Post by joycedavies » Sun Jul 22, 2012 10:28 pm

Read each scenario and identify who is responsible/accountable for the injury. eg individual, supervisor, employer
a. Lucy drops a walking board and breaks three toes. She was wearing open sandals.

i. Who is responsible?

ii. Reason:

I already answered the other scenario except for this one as I don't know the answer.
I would appreciate if someone can share their thoughts about this.

The person accountable would be supervisor and individual the supervisor must make sure that people have the correct suitable footwear for work , the individual aswell must be responsible for there own actions by wearing the incorrect footwear.
