Hi,
I am just wondering if eligible to receive my Ed Leader Allowance whilst on Annual Leave.

I work fulltime and receive Ed Leader Allowance. I went on Annual leave and was not paid for my Ed Leader Allowance stating I'm not eligible whilst on leave

I suggest you contact Human Resources to explain the situation. Explain that you are still working full-time and are just on leave, and therefore still eligible for the Team Leader Allowance. They will consider your request and may reinstate the allowance.

The allowance is not a casual loading but an entitlement linked to my appointment as Educational Leader, and the recent changes from 1 July 2025 confirm that the allowance is tied to the number of days per week the role is designated, not whether I am actively working those days. On this basis, I believe I should have received my Educational Leader Allowance while on annual leave, and I kindly request that this be reviewed and corrected.
