Duration of study

Post by Polly923 » Fri Oct 25, 2019 1:47 pm

Good afternoon guys!

I am considering changing to childcare after working as a nurse.
I have had a look at Selmar and TAFE qld, just wondering how long it took for most people to complete their study?
It says can be completed at your own pace but how long is that?
I am undecided yet if I would go the certificate or diploma route.

Any information would be helpful!

Have a nice day!!

Hi, I'm currently studying with Selmar. Training platform is great, communication with trainer is awesome. But its not self paced, there is a training schedule although it can be flexible is a little more time is needed for an assessment.

I'm doing the diploma straight up, as a lot more childcare centers are asking for diploma Quals over cert 3.

Oh okay. With the training schedule how long will it take to complete?
