Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the ECT should get extra time off the floor for programming or is it the same as normal (2hrs a week)?

If you are an employee, responsible for preparing, implementing and/or evaluating a developmental program, by law you get a minimum of 2 hours per week to plan, prepare, evaluate and program activities. These 2 hours count as part of your ordinary hours.

In the Award it only states for 2 hrs per week, it’s ridiculous because you’re right you can’t get much done in 2 hours at all!

If you want extra hours you’ll have to talk to your Director...

Diplomas, ECT’s all in the same boat - never enough time to get the paperwork done!
