Water Safety - No More Than 5cm Depth

Post by Ivette » Thu Aug 10, 2017 8:59 pm

Hello:
I am just wondering if there any specific regulations about water safety. I used to work in place where they didn't allowed any buckets, ponds, etc with more than 5cm of water depth. I can't remember if this was just part of their policy of it actually came from a regulation. I am located in Victoria and I am unable to find anything specific information about water depth in childcare settings.
thank you!

I can't find anything in the Regulations specific to Water Safety.

There are a number of water policies and I noticed that some of the references are from the Kids Safe website, so you may be able to find some information from there.
