Clarification on correct pay level - Out of School Hours Care

Hi. I am trying to get clarification on what level I am supposed to be paid at. I graduated with a teaching degree at the end of last year. I work as a coordinator in OSHC and also sometimes as as assistant. Can someone please advise which level I am supposed to be at as Coordinator and Assistant under the ACECQA guidelines? Thank you

How many years trained are you 3 or 4 years trained?
Have you got an ECT degree or primary teaching?
How long have you been a co-ordinator for?

How many years trained are you 3 or 4 years trained?- I have a 4 year degree
Have you got an ECT degree or primary teaching? - I have a secondary teaching degree
How long have you been a co-ordinator for? - I have been a coordinator for over 2 years and still work as an Assistant as I am only part time.

the Award details that once you have gained a qualification that is equal to Diploma level you are eligible for progression and should be paid at level 3.4. I have lodged an enquiry with the FWO.

Yes, as an assistant with a Diploma qualification you should be paid at a Level 3.4, however, since you are also a coordinator you need to also take that into consideration as well. For your pay, it may be different depending on your position at the centre so for 1 week you work as a coordinator you may be paid "higher duties" and when you work as an assistant you will be paid for that role. When you work as a coordinator it is just a stand in right as in the coordinator is away for the day and you take on the responsibility...
