Engaging With Peers, Mentors & Others To Support Culture Within The Service

Post by Sayeda2 » Tue Apr 04, 2017 12:49 pm

Hi i need help with question so far i have just write that much and dont know if its the right answer or if i am in the right path
How would you engage with peers, mentors and others to support individual culture within the service?

I would support individual culture by providing their needs e.g. for a Muslim child I would provide halal food and Jews children with kosher and also some children are not allowed to participate in celebration then I would respect their decision.

Yes, you're on the right track!

You can also include - Work with families to understand their cultures, attend professional workshops on diversity, promote diversity within centre.
