NQF and EYLF Relating To Healthy Eating

Post by TJ246 » Wed Oct 12, 2016 8:55 pm

Hi i am really stuck on these final questions before i have to hand them in. The dead line is fast approaching AHH lol

12. a) Identify which standard within the National Quality Framework (NQF) relates to promoting healthy eating and creating a positive mealtime environment
Answer. Standard 2.2 Healthy eating and physical activity are embedded in the program for children. This part i am fine with
b) How does this link to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)?
Answer) Promoting good nutrition is essential to healthy living and enables children to be actively involved in play and leisure. Education and care settings provide many opportunities for children to experience different ranges of healthy foods and leaning about healthy food choices from educators and other children.
Does this sound right?

Thank you :)
