You are participating in a group discussion at mealtime. Burton, 4 years, begins to tell you about his weekend and how he went to a hospital because his Gran is sick. Safron, also 4 years, interrupts to say that she went to a hospital too and that her Pa has a broken leg. Safron then says that she wants to make a hospital in the home corner.
5. a) What would you say to encourage the children to tell their stories, but also role-model how they can listen to each other’s stories?
b) What are two ways you will show you are listening
What are two open-ended questions you could ask Safron to find out more about her idea of setting up a hospital and support her decision-making and planning?
thank you in advance

Re: develop positive and respectful relationships with children
a) To encourage the children to tell their stories and also be role model how they can listen to each other’s stories as educator I would to that by support children’s communication and encage them in sustained conversation.
b) Make Eye Contact—the first step in being a good listener is to make eye contact with people while they are talking. Good eye contact demonstrates genuine interest in the person and the conversation.
Allowing a child to finish what they have to say before responding.
c) Who is going to be a doctor and how many nurse you want?
What materials do you think you need for your hospital corner?
this is my answers is correct? pls help me

Yes, you're on the right track...
For a) you can also include - ask questions, listen to each child talk, choose children to tell their story etc.
