Scenario: Father Thinks His Son Isn't Learning

Post by JessicaE » Mon May 16, 2016 11:09 am

So I'm completely stuck on this question I'm not sure where to look to find any information on this?
Q. A father makes a compliant to you that his 4 1/2 year old Jacob isn't learning enough at the service, he is frustrated that the educators let him get dirty during the day when they could be ensuring he is ready for school, what would you do and why?

You can talk to him about the curriculum, give him his son's portfolio or observations and the learning his child has displayed or achieved. Talk about play based learning and how it benefits a child... etc.

Hope this helps,
