Answer : The privacy and personal information protection act (1998) is set out to protect and individual's right to privacy and confidentiality. Where as UN convention identifies the child right to privacy. The regulations make it clear that educators must maintain confidentiality at all times in relation to personal information about children and families.
I need to make sure that no information should be discussed with any body outside my center, I need to be discreet while talking on phone,
All the information that is confidential should be out of reach from public and secure in safe place. Not to use any names or personal information in any public or meeting .
I can share the information only under circumstances when there is need to certain regulatory authority for instance when child is at risk
