hi all, I'm writing up my observation of my focus child "being creative" for my assessment. the ob was of her sitting and "reading" a book to her friend. she was talking about the animals she was seeing and the noises the animals make. and also turning the pages from left to right.
would an appropriate interpretation be? i get confused about how much info and what to say.
could i just simply say; she is able to identify lots of different animals and the sounds the animals make. she is turning the pages in the book the correct way.
i wasn't sure if this was too simple? maybe I'm just over thinking it (like i always do!!)
thanks in advance!

Re: interpretation
You could use the EYLF outcomes as part of your interpretation. Choose a sub outcome and connect it to the observation. This will help you write the analysis and the outcomes the child has achieved during her play.
Hope this helps,
