Scenario
When a parent drops off her child in the babies room, she tells you she does not want Lucy to be her child's primary Educator as Lucy does not know her child. It is obvious that the parent is upset and would like to talk about her concerns.
A. What will be your response to the parent?
I will talk to the parent in a quiet area away from children,other staff and parents and tell her that I know that she had some concerns regarding Lucy and the proper way to address her concern is through talking to the concern educator.
2. What workplace procedure do you need to follow?
Pls. Help me with my response I dont know if im on the right track.
I was thinking if I will go straight to Lucy to tell her that there is a concerned parents who wants to talk to her or it is the parents grievance policy is the correct response or tell it to the Director.pls help me because Im confused with what to say.

hi everyone,
can I know the main benefit/reason to have primary care givers?
because we concern about children would be clingy to an educator and what if the staff break, RDO, or leave the centre. afterall key educator need know about the child, through spending more time with the child.?
if the room parents seemed to be fine with anyone, no family mention they need a key educator for their child, do we have to mention who is the 'key educator'?
