CHCCN303A Policies and procedures

Post by Steffelz » Sat Oct 01, 2011 10:57 am

This ones got me baffled, id really appreciate if anyone could give me a hand.
The question is
Explain how policies and procedures are reviewed to include identification, management and monitoring of special dietary needs related to food allergies and medical food conditions.

Hey Steffelz,

Typically when reviewing a policy the centre needs to gather feedback from staff, families etc… So, you can discuss how you can include any special dietary requirements for the children at the centre. There may be some children at the service who have an egg allergy. So, in this case, you will need to review your menu plan to remove any foods that contain egg. Once you have identified this you will also need to include it within the policy. Hopefully I’m leading you in the right direction… this is what I understand from the question…

Hope This Helps!

Cheers :geek:,
