CHCECE013 - Scenario: Observations On JM

JM is a 10 MTh old infant .this morning JM was playing with a ball with one of the care workers.the ball rolled past JM she was unable to reach out and grab it from where she satJM is not yet able to crawl ,however, she attempted to reach forward to grasp the ball but was still too far from it.JM leaned forward until she was lying on her belly,which brought her closer to the ball,still being a little short of it ,she pushed off the floor with her feet and boosted herself forwards to the ball.JM stretched her left arm forward again and reached the ball,grasping it in her fingertips.she brought the ball to her mouth and smiled,she seemed very proud of herself.

(1) How might behaviours be recorded ? -: These behaviours would be recorded through observations. By detailing J M's movements recording her motor ability skills and her determination to get the ball, it shows her self confidence and achievements.
(2) Why is it a good ide to record such activities ? :- By recording these activities through observations you can see where J m is achieving her milestones. Through observation records parents can keep up to date with how J M is achieving he r goals. (3) What does this description tell you about the possible strengths of JM ?

ok don't know why i'm stuck on no 3 .do I point out how she pushes off the floor etc? and please am I ok on the first 2 Q . thank you any help is so very much appreciated.

has good strength in her legs as she pushes forward
has good core strength as she pushes herself forward
able to work out how to manoeuvre to get an object out of her reach
