CHCECE013 - Scenario: Mitch - Supporting Motor Skills

Post by Lissa Candy » Thu Oct 15, 2015 12:26 am

The Educator would like to extend and develop Mitch's motor skills.
i. List an experience/Educator strategy for the program that will support this goal
ii. Explain why you chose this and how it meets the goal?

The Educator makes crawling place safe and secure, she choose sturdy furniture for pulling himself to stand.Place it out of Mitch was good idea as this encourage him to reach it.He pushed himself and as it was interesting and makes some noises, he crawled and pulled himself to standing position.

Please help me if you can.I don't think i am on the right track. What else i can say if this answer is not to bad. Thank you

From the question, it seems like you need to think of an experience that will further develop Mitch's skills based on the photograph. So, if the image is of Mitch standing and holding himself up on the toy table, what other experiences can you think of that will help him? For e.g. making an small obstacle course, using a small a frame for Mitch to climb (with educator support), a tunnel (to crawl through) etc.

Hope this helps,
