Childcare Supervisors Cert and Certificate 3 in Children's Services
Childcare Supervisors Cert and Certificate 3 in Children's Services
I'm a registered teacher, and my degree was in secondary education. Since I started working I've only ever worked with primary school aged children. I currently have a child care supervisor's certificate and Cert III in Children's Services. I'm wondering if I need to get a Diploma in Children's Services as well to work as a room leader in child care? Or is what I have enough?

Re: Childcare Supervisors Cert and Certificate 3 in Children's Services
As far as I know you will still need to complete a Diploma to become a room leader. You may be able to show RPL (recognition of prior learning) for some of the units within the Diploma. This means that you wont have to complete the assignments if you can show your already have the knowledge an experience...
