See if the following helps:

http://ohsonline.com/Articles/2010/09/0 ... y.aspx?m=2

It's based on OH&S, however that's very similar to WHS so you can get an idea at least of what the question is...

Hope this helps,

Hello
I also have a question re HLTWHS300A
It is Tuesday morning and you are the first to arrive at your Service, after checking the premises, you observe the following:
1 a broken toy int he bay/infants room
2 one of the safety harnesses on the highchair is broken
3 missing safety covers for the electrical outlets in the toddlers room
4 a knife was left on the kitchen counter from yesterday
5 one of the nappy bins were not emptied from last night

use template 26a to identify the hazards in the above scenario. (which is a 'Daily hazard identification checklist"

So far I have ticked the boxes:
toys and children s equipment (e.g tables, high chairs) as maintenance required
and
Toys and equipment are in good repair as maintenance required
and
Broken/unsafe toys and equipment are stored out of children's reach
and
Electrical outlets are capped with safety plugs as maintenance required
and
Items such as scissors, knives, plastic bags, matches etc kept out of children's reach as maintenance required
and lastly
Rubbish bins are empty (assuming that also covers nappy bins) as needing maintenance required
I believe they may be right above, but, I am unsure if they are urgent or non urgent ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Warm Regards
Lilly :)
