Post by nilima » Wed Aug 28, 2013 2:03 pm

Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: chcpr509a
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? Yes
Your knowledge: Basic Knowledge

Your Question?
You can use the program planning template from “Aussie childcare network” or your centre.
Start with situation Analysis. This is a detailed examination of the particular setting tin which the program will operate. Consider the location of the centre, community and cultural practices and well as expectation of the stakeholders. You need to gather the background information. consider children interest, centre procedure and community needs .
In one a4 page formulate a plan which:
-define and interprets the setting in which the program will take place.
-provide an overview of where and how the program will take place in consideration of the above factors mentioned above.

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
Actually i am not getting what exactly i have do?
do i have to use planning sheet to write about experience. i have done that before.
if i am on right track am thinking to arrange library person visit to read a book/ make veggy patch in our centre.
can you plz suggest me what planning template i have to use for this? and how can i include setting information and overview of this?

So, from my understanding it sounds like you will need to fill in a program plan. So, this means organize a variety of experiences for a group of children for the whole week. These experiences will need to be linked to the EYLF and well as provide details on why the experiences is on the program plan in the first place through the use of input keys.

To use the program plan on this site, simply go to Online Tools, Long Daycare EYLF Templates and you will see the curriculum plans listed. You can choose either Daily or Weekly using either Play Based Learning format or Learning Outcomes Based Format. There are also samples of each of the templates available to give you a better understanding of how to fill it in.

I'm providing you with a link to the Online Tools below:

Hope this helps,

BTW - May I ask where are you studying? Tafe or another institute?

I'm glad the template helped you! I know it's a lot of work but it's all worth it in the end when you finally gain your qualification and sart working in a centre! It's a great industry to work in, even though its hard work!

The reason why I'm asking where your studying is because in your question it mentioned that you can use the template from this site. I just wanted to know which training institute including this site into their assignment question. I think that's pretty awesome! Sorry it may sound lame to you but it makes me happy that this site is being recognized by others!

Anyways good luck with the rest of your studies and if you need anything, we are always here!
