Post by Steffelz » Tue Jun 11, 2013 1:13 pm

Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: CHCIC512A Plan and implement inclusion of children with additional needs
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? No
Your knowledge: Beginner

Your Question?
What role does adapting the developmental environment play in the positive inclusion of a child with additional needs?

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
Each child has individual and differing needs. The service and its staff need to be flexible in order to adapt to meed the requirements of individual children within resource limitations. Environmental arrangements/adaptations are extremely important because of the range of abilities among children. Educators need to arrange and/or adapt play spaces both indoors and outdoors so that children with additional needs can be included easily and naturally. This teaches us that all types of children can play together and have fun

Description and Message:
Can someone please let me know if my answer is any good?
Thanks :)
