Toddler room rules
Re: Toddler room rules
Perhaps displaying photographs of children doing what you expect. For example pictures of children packing away, playing with things where they belong, sharing etc. If it has themselves or children they know they will be more interested. Be intentional with where you put things like have the picture of them sharing in a place where they seem to be more challenged to do so. I would then use the displays to talk about these expectations during the day as they play.. This could make it more relevant as well as positive.
Re: Toddler room rules
You could also use colours to create your room rules. So you can choose 4 to 5 rules that are simple for the children to understand and associate them with a colour. Red could be something like "we pack away our toys" then on red paper write the rule and a add a photo of children packing away.. This can be displayed where the children can easily see them. Each group time continue to reinforce the colour and the rule and the children will begin to remind each other of the rule they should be following...
