Learning Vocabulary Inside a Bedroom

Post by star-little » Thu Sep 05, 2019 2:42 pm

The bedroom is an important part of a child’s identity while growing up. It is a place to rest, sleep, study, read and play. How your kids’ bedroom looks like? Let learn some words related to bedroom.

Hello,

You can try to describe the pictures and the items. For example, you can ask: “Does the bed has a bed sheet?”, or maybe “What shape is the pillow?”, this way your child will practice and learn more English vocabulary, and will even get a chance to practice the names of the shapes.
You can also create a list of things that we can see in a bedroom such as:
List of Things in the Bedroom
Air Conditioner.
Armchair.
Bedsheet.
Bedside Table.
Blanket.
Bookshelf.
Bunk Bed.
Carpet.

You can also follow the ways to teach bedroom vocabulary to your child:
Make conversation a priority. Young children are like sponges, so it's important to immerse them in language right from the start.
Read together about bedroom furniture and other things related to bedroom
Use labels.
Play word games.
Use words in sentences.
Write for pleasure.
Create a word wall.
Introduce a word of the day.

Thanks

Nandita
