Culture Learning: Mid-Autumn Festival

Post by star-little » Sat Sep 26, 2020 7:11 pm

The Mid-Autumn Festival celebrates the moon when it’s supposedly the roundest and fullest during the year. The festival is associated with family reunions, harvest, and of course mooncakes. People decorate streets, homes, and businesses with lanterns, traditionally handmade with paper, though bulb-lit ones are popular these days.
