Description:
Tell children that it is important for everyone to protect themselves by using sunscreen to help keep them from getting burned by the sun. Provide each child with a doll dressed so that the arms and legs are exposed. Give each child a small amount of sunscreen and encourage them to rub the sunscreen on the doll’s skin. Talk about protecting each exposed body part as children apply the sunscreen. Remember to include the ears, neck, and top of the head if doll does not have hair. After that I will take them outdoor area that has both sun and shade. Walk from one area to another and talk about the differences in how the space looks (darker or lighter) and feels (warmer or cooler). Reflection on your goal :
I think I did well in this activities . I encourage the children to learn the sun safety, also encourage them by put sun scream on the doll. I mange the experience by keep the children thinking and looking for sun or shade spot. The thing I will do for next activity I will provide small sun pictures so the children can put it in the sun spot. I used loud tone of voice to keep children interact with me.
Goal you can work on to improve your skills
Speak slowly when I give directions
Use the names of the children
