Personal Philosophy On Children's Development & Learning

Hey everyone.. i have to write my own personal philosophy in 500 words on children's development and learning for my diploma and I'm not sure where to start. i have to relate it to current trends and theories..
Could someone please give me some sample personal philosophy or ideas?!
