Choose a topic from sustainable practices in service operations. your research project will be a systematic investigation undertaken to discover relevant facts for information. The methodology used will be action research using surveys, questionnaires or other methods of data collection.

1. to identify particular needs or a need of a target group in order to improve a situation.
2. to discover and describe what is happening in a particular situation.
3. to explore attitudes about a particular issues or concern with children, families and staff
4. to find out if outcomes are improved by a particular approach or process.



complete the research proposal planning format to record your research proposal and plan, include:
1. The aspect of sustainable practices that you would like to focus your research on
2. A rationale for the research
3. Write a clear research statement, question that summaries the main aim of the research
4. The target group of your research project
5. The stakeholders and their interest in the topic

When it says write a clear research statement, question that summarises the main aim of the research. What does this mean. I dont understand what my response should be to that.
P.s. mine is on recycling

Ok, so you need to think of what you want to achieve with "recycling" within a centre and then how you will achieve the statement...

For example: "Implement a Composting System with Lunch time food scraps" etc.

The aim of my research will be to establish the importance of striving towards a more sustainable practice within the work environment thus therefore improving the ability to meet standard 3.3 of the national quality standards. A goal of mine is to implement recycling in the room and eother reuse or recyle these product reducimg our amoumt of waste.
Is this ok or am i way off mark
