Health & Safety Legislations, Standards & Guidelines

Hi I am having trouble understanding what they are after in this question.

List and Briefly discribe the various legislations, standards and guidelines used to manage the health and safety of children and adults in children services.

I had done it but i had it all wrong and have to resubmit, Can anyone please help me understand what they want ...
