Can anyone please help with this question? I am not sure my answer is on the right track???

Explain what is meant by the following statement in relation to documentation - "Documentation must be authentic and reflect both the processes of learning as well as the acquisition of skills and knowledge"

Answer: This means that what we are documenting must be meaningful so we can guide our planning to develop the child’s skills and build on their knowledge further.
I think it also means that we capture the child’s whole journey as he learns a skill not just the skill he has acquired. For example we would have samples of the child’s attempts at writing in stages throughout the year not just the final sample when he has masted his name.
