hi, currently completing my diploma in children services and need some assistance on the following question regarding a scenario, I have completed it all and ready to send it all off to be marked an finish my diploma, I'm just struggling with a few questions I have left as was unable to answer them.
Read all of the following information before commencing this task.
Assume you are a Certificate III educator employed at City Children’s Centre.
The Service
There are 20 full and part-time educators employed at the service (trainees, Cert. 3, Diploma & EC teachers)
There are 120 children enrolled at the services (4mths - 5yrs+)
The service operates 5 rooms
4mths - 18mths
18mths - 24mths
2yrs - 3yrs
3yrs - 4yrs
4yrs+
The families include low and middle-income earners
30% of families are from non-English speaking backgrounds – (70% of mothers in this group struggle with written English).
At a recent team meeting the Director asked the team to reflect on the service philosophy and how it is translated into workplace practices. During the meeting several ideas were discussed. The team was divided into sub-groups and each subgroup was assigned a task.
Your subgroup is required to identify how the philosophy reflects the following components of the National Quality Framework (NQS):
the National Quality Standards
the Regulations
and the ECA Code of Ethics (2016)

Scenario: Part 1
Each member of the team has now completed this task (working on one of the aims). The Director asks each team member to reflect on, and briefly share with the team how the task has overall helped them to better understand the legal and ethical responsibilities of educators.
Scenario: Part 2
During the discussion, the group who were working on philosophy aim e. have discovered their work practices are not meeting national quality standard 6.1.3 or regulation 76 for mothers who struggle with written English as families are given lengthy documents in written English.
