Your Assignment Type: Case Scenario

Your Question?
Hi friends I am really stuck on this last question an some one please help me with this
Case study
Samantha is 4½ years old. She has been at the centre for three months and has demonstrated interest in:
• animals (particularly horses, cats and dogs)
• alone time to explore and investigate things around the centre
• drawing and painting
• looking at picture books
• playing with toys by herself.
Samantha’s parents would like to see her develop more social skills and become more interactive.
The centre director has asked you to develop a plan for Samantha that:
a) complies with the national child health and wellbeing core competencies (see list at the end of this case study)
b) is appropriate for her stage of development
c) provides opportunities to develop and expand her knowledge, skills and interests
d) fosters improvement in her attention and experiences of science, math’s and technology, while remaining enjoyable to her
e) provides for monitoring and evaluation in accordance with service policies and procedures.
Create a plan for the next week and present it to your trainer/assessor.

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
I am still thinking for a while but need some one to start.

How about you start and then we can help... You will need to answer questions in order to receive support. Just try and answer the best you can. Think of activities or experiences that cover her interests.
