Hey, I'm stuck on CHCFC504A Self awareness page 25.
The question is Suggest two features of physical environment that can support toddlers
as they strive towards the development of self-help skills.
I'm not sure the answer I got is right. I mean when asked my husband to help me out he
laughed saying the answer I got was no where near what they are asking so I'm too
embarrassed to tell what my answer is.
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OUT FAST????????????????

Hi you will find you will get more help if instead of calling this post "help me" name it ws the unit number and subject in the title eg "CHCFC504A Self awarenes help". Also its a good idea to post the actual quesions aswell because not all study books are the same and not eveyone who can help may have the book to look up the exact question.

Im sorry I can not help you I have not done this unit yet. But hopefully someone comes along soon :)

In regards to a pre-schoolers slef help skills I would write things like letting them serve their own lunch from serving bowls and water jugs on each table and have lunch box days to encourage their choice making (in a service like mine where meals are provided).... Also have their belongings where they can reach such as hats and jackets so they can dress themselves ready for outdoor play... allow them to put on their own sunscreen... encourage them to put their own shoes on.... etc.

Also you should post your answer no matter how silly you may feel it is it will give others an understanding of how you have understood the question. I would list things simillar to the answer I gave for the pre-schoolers self help. In my centre two featues of the physical environment that help our toddlers self help skills would be things as simple as the toilets - the children can use these themselves with an educator supervising.... aswell as the sinks.... they are all at a level the children can do things for themselves.... stuff like that Im thinking! :)
