Q7: How will you clearly explain the guidelines and regulations that you work under within the context of the interview with the parent?

A: Provide examples of documents such as
-Ethics code
-Child protection
-Children’s behaviour policy
-Any other relevant service policies
Give her a copy to take and read over, so that she understands the guidelines and regulations that we work under and have to meet.
Example-
I would explain the policies in regarding child protection, this explains what we can do and what we can’t do, what we follow to make sure the children are in a safe and protected environment.
The policies I would offer the families copies so they can read over them.
