All I can think of is through observations over time, are the strategies being implemented correctly, Is the child improving their skills?

You’re on the right track with observations and checking if strategies are being followed those are definitely key. Another way to reflect is by gathering feedback from educators and families to see if they notice changes in the child’s engagement or confidence. You can also look at the child’s participation in group experiences are they joining in more, building friendships, or showing less frustration? Finally, think about linking your reflections back to developmental outcomes (like EYLF goals) so you can see if the strategies are helping the child progress in a broader sense, not just in isolated skills. Keeping it practical and collaborative makes the reflection process more meaningful.
